Tabletop Game News of the Week – Gameapalooza Round Up for 7 September through September 13, 2015
Where did the week go?! Loads of tabletop gaming news happened this week, so buckle up Australia and we've got it all, well most, the good stuff Let’s Go!
The English language version of "Mysterium" finally launches October 1. This is on our must have list and we’ll be bringing you a full Australian review of it as soon as we manage to snag one. (teaser trailer above).
We hear "Game Traders Logan Hyperdome" Queensland, has upped their tabletop gaming section with a huge selection of board games and card games. Great news for local gamers (like us).
Weiss Schwarz CCG "Love Live! Vol. 2 Expansion" is set for a release December 18. That's it. If you love Japanime you're probably doing flips whilst making really HUGE eyes right now.
Passport Game Studios title "Antarctica" is getting an English edition. We're pretty excited about this one by French designer Charles Chevalier ("Abyss", "Gentlemen Thieves" and "Continental Express"). Expected release window: October, yes as in next month!
Antarctica a cold cold place
Stonemaier Games is releasing it's new game "Between Two Cities" in November for a full trade release (pre-orders go out in October from their website). It comes to us from designers Matthew O'Malley and Ben Rosset. You take on the role of city planner and it looks very nice.
Renegade Game Studios game "Lanterns: The Harvest Festival" is getting another print run, so if you've found it hard to get, just be patient, games that sell well, do get a reprint.
Osprey Games will be publishing an ultimate edition of "Escape From the aliens in Outer Space". Release window at the moment is set around May, 2016.
Looney Labs and Penguin Young Readers are producing a card game version of "Mad Libs". This sounds kind of like "Cards Against Humanity" without the crude. There's no release date yet.
As always we’ll update this with anything else happening in the world of tabletop gaming until we see you again on Monday!
Have a great weekend… get your game on!
