Shuffle Cluedo card game review:
The "Shuffle" line of games launched back in 2014 and seems to be ever growing with more games added to the line later this year. This review is looking at the Shuffle Cluedo Card Game, essentially Cluedo in card game form, first released back in 2014.
Shuffle Cluedo is a deduction card game in which players try and work out the three hidden Evidence cards by way of asking opponents questions. Was it Scarlett in the Kitchen with the Rope? Well if it was and that's what you're thinking, you don't want to let on to your opponents, you want to be first to guess correctly, so make sure your powers of deduction are spot on and throw a few red herrings into your line of questioning.
There's really not a lot to say about the Shuffle games, because they're small and quick to play. Shuffle Cluedo is basically an easy, fun, old fashioned whodunnit that doesn't take long to get the hang of.
If you're familiar with the traditional board game version, you'll be just fine playing the card game. It's a handy little game to have in your bag for traveling and is definitely more fun with more than two players where possible. It'll lengthen the game a little and helps to bulk up the intrigue when questioning more people. It also has a handy little app that adds some nice background music to set the scene and has some walkthrough videos to get you set up and playing in no time.
Overall, Cluedo Shuffle Game is a good adaptation from board game to card game and will keep you entertained for a while. The artwork is certainly well done. With two players it doesn't have immense replayability, but it's still fun and good for a quick coffee or travel game. As these types of mass market games go, this is an okay representation of the original game.
