Loonacy Card Game – Game Review

Let’s start by saying this: “Loonacy” comes to us “from the creators of Fluxx”. Ahh yes, that got you interested didn’t it? “Loonacy” is like Snap on speed (don’t do drugs kids, they’re bad, we don’t mean it literally!). Each player gets seven cards, the overall idea being, get rid of all your cards the fastest: WINNER!

There’s a catch, each card has two images and you can match to either of them. First player laying the match is the only one that counts, so you have to be quick! Get down to one card and no one can play a card to the pile, everyone picks up, it’s nail biting stuff.

“Loonacy” is a favorite here in the dank halls of Gameapalooza Tower. It’s so simple to learn, a brilliant laugh, takes up hardly any room and there’s next to no setup time. “Loonacy” is a fantastic little game from the devious genius mind of Looney Labs. Grab it today, you won’t be disappointed.

Game Build Quality
Regular retail version: Nice small box, good quality. The cards are nice too, can be slightly sticky (as in hard to shuffle) when you first play, but loosen after some time. Overall, really sweet.

Ages 8 and up
2 to 5 players
Setup Time next to nothing
Playing time: 5 – 15 minutes

There’s not a lot of depth (it’s essentially a heightened version of Snap), but there are a lot of laughs. A must buy filler according to the Gameapalooza team. [/authorinfo] [/author]
