Manhattan Project Chain Reaction card game TLDR game review

It's not often a board game's overall flavour can be condensed down into a small card game version, but here we are with The Manhattan Project: Chain Reaction. A card game based on The Manhattan Project board game.

The Manhattan Project: Chain Reaction uses card driven resource management in a really clever way. Each card is multi-use and you can chain them together (thus the name). Send workers to the mines for yellowcake (uranium concentrate), get scientists to turn that yellowcake into uranium proper and use it to collect bombs. Collect bombs to the value of 10 (or whatever you set in fairness) and there's your winner.

The Manhattan Project: Chain Reaction also shines as a solo game, in which you try and beat yourself and previous bomb scores by going through the deck once.

If you're looking for a small box card game that is a great little distillation of it's bigger board game brother, check out The Manhattan Project: Chain Reaction. Easy to learn, easy to teach, fun to try and master. I love it, maybe you will too.
