Guillotine card game – TL;DR Review
Here we are with a TL;DR review of card game “Guillotine” by Wizards of the Coast and designed by Paul Peterson. The idea of Guillotine is simple, you’re an executioner during the French Revolution and it’s your job to collect as many heads of the nobility as you can. It all sounds grim, but the artwork gives it a comical tone and it’s a lot of fun. Play time is fairly swift at around 20 minutes and the game works well for two players, but even better for three to five.
Guillotine is simple to learn and set up. Short play time makes for great filler. Nice gateway game for non tabletop gamers. The only real let down is that flimsy box and the ‘guillotine’ prop itself, ugh.
- Players: 2-5

- Setup Time: minimal
